The club owns a 10-acre flying site directly south of New Hartford. The entrance road is off county road T-55 south of town. We fly from a 60' x 400' petromat runway. There is a picnic shelter for shade in the summer. The gate at the field entrance is locked unless members are present. Spectators are welcome whenever club members are flying.
The club flying field is OPEN year round. However, at times the access road may not be passable due to snow or wet weather conditions.
Always be aware of weather conditions. Take shelter or evacuate the area when threatening weather is nearby.

The club fllying field is an FAA FRIA zone. What is a FRIA? A FRIA is a defined area where remote controlled aircraft and drones can be flown without Remote ID equipment.. In addition, the pilot of the drone must be able to see it at all times throughout the duration of the flight.
The access road to the club flying field may be closed for a few weeks in the Sping until the frost is out of the ground and the road is passable. Please do not drive on the access road during this time.
