The club meets on the 4th Tuesday of the month. From May thru September the meetings are held at the club flying field in New Hartford. From October thru April we meet at a local restaurant. Due to covid-19 restrictions, we are currently meeting online via Zoom.
Flying events are held monthly from June thru September. Check our Events Calendar for details. Spectators are always welcome. Guest pilots are welcome, but must be current members of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA).
All model flying must be in accordance with the current AMA National Model Aircraft Safety Code. A copy of the Safety Code is on the club webpage and posted at the club flying site.
The Flight & Ground Safety Rules apply at all times to all pilots. Guests and student pilots must agree to follow all the Flight & Ground Safety Rules before flying at the club field.

The Black Hawk R/C Pilots has been AMA chartered club #792 since 1969.
Annual dues are due on January 31st each year. The Club dues are:
First year's dues for new Adult Members: new Adult Members who join after September 1st are $50 and include the following calendar year.
Renewing Adult Member: $100/year for AMA members 19 years of age and older.
Youth Member: $18/year for AMA members under 19 years of age.
Family Member: $24/year for AMA members residing in the same household as a Senior Member.
Non-Resident Member: $24/year for AMA members who's primary residence is more than 50 miles away from the Club Flying Field at New Hartford, IA
Affiliate Member: $24/year for anyone who does not fly and is not an AMA member.
